What Courses are Available?

UP Idiomes offers a range of Catalan courses to suit different levels and learning styles. Whether you prefer to learn online or onsite, there's a course for you.

Online Courses

UP Idiomes' online courses are perfect for those who want to learn Catalan from the comfort of their own home. The courses are delivered through a virtual classroom, where you can interact with your teacher and classmates in real-time. The courses are designed to be flexible, so you can study at your own pace and fit your learning around your other commitments.

There are three different online courses available:

Beginner Course

This course is designed for complete beginners who have no prior knowledge of Catalan. You will learn the basics of the language, including pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary. By the end of the course, you will be able to have simple conversations in Catalan.

Intermediate Course

This course is designed for students who already have some knowledge of Catalan. You will build on your existing skills and learn more advanced grammar and vocabulary. By the end of the course, you will be able to have more complex conversations in Catalan.

Advanced Course

This course is designed for students who are already proficient in Catalan. You will refine your skills and learn more advanced grammar and vocabulary. By the end of the course, you will be able to express yourself fluently and confidently in Catalan.

Onsite Courses

UP Idiomes' onsite courses are held in Girona, one of the most vibrant and cosmopolitan cities in Europe. The courses are immersive, which means that you will be learning Catalan in a real-life context, using the language to communicate with locals and experience Catalan culture firsthand.

There are two different onsite courses available:

Intensive Course

This course is designed for students who want to learn Catalan quickly and intensively. You will have four hours of classes per day, five days a week, for a total of 80 hours over four weeks. By the end of the course, you will be able to speak Catalan with confidence and fluency.

Extensive Course

This course is designed for students who want to learn Catalan at a more relaxed pace. You will have two hours of classes per day, two days a week, for a total of 40 hours over 20 weeks. This course is perfect for those who want to learn Catalan alongside their other commitments, such as work

We are preparing an intensive Catalan course, intermediate level (B2), for all those who want to respond orally and in writing, in an appropriate, coherent, and fluent manner in social and professional settings, and prepare for the official exam of this level. Starting January 2024
